The World Defense Show held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia hosted numerous exhibitors and visitors in a large area. To guide and direct the visitors to different areas of the exhibition, two different types of robots were deployed – Amy Plus and Temi.
Both robots have the ability to dynamically map the area it covers and allow visitors to follow them to a set destination like a restroom, cafe, or reception. Featuring the event map on the screen of the robots allows visitors to easily navigate through the event.
A total of 9 customer service robots assisted to welcome the visitors and remind them to social distance and wear their face masks using its voice to broadcast messages. Six Temi Robots and three Amy Plus Robots were deployed at the Defense Show – both housing an onboard screen that played an introduction video of all the different shows on the event’s agenda, as well as displayed the map of the event.
